Dangerous Driving and Parking

Today the school had to sort out a gridlock of traffic on Tutts Barn Lane and Gorringe Road. The gridlock happens because families are parking too close to the school and not following the suggested one-way system.

This is putting the lives of our children, families, staff and visitors at risk! It will also stop gridlock from happening in the first place.

If you are parking safely and not blocking access to the residents of Gorringe Road then turn into Tutts Barn Lane and then right into Gorringe Road. To exit follow Gorringe Road to the end.

Please do not enter Gorringe and then exit by turning left onto Tutts Barn Lane. This is causing the gridlock.

We ask that all families park away from the school and walk in. Preferably not close by on Gorringe Road.

Please do not park on Tutts Barn Lane track as this is for access to the allotments and for small businesses and the farm at the top of the lane.

This is a busy time for the farmer and he has already had access blocked by cars where families of the school have parked. Please respect our neighbours and the safety of our children by parking away from the school and walking in.
